Stop Drifting. Design Your Financial Freedom.
You've worked hard, earned the income, and done what you were told would lead to financial success. Yet somehow, the more you earn, the more your financial freedom slips away. DRIFT reveals the hidden cultural pressures, financial habits, and everyday decisions that quietly work against you, and shows you how to break the cycle, regain control, and build a financial future shaped by your priorities, not society's expectations.Explore the DRIFT Course

"Financial freedom isn't something you stumble into by earning more — it's something you have to design, defend, and choose, deliberately, against a current that's always pulling the other direction."
— Tom Graneau

Who it's for
Is this you?
The high-earning professional
He's hitting career milestones and taking home a strong salary — but every raise seems to vanish into expanded obligations, and he can't quite explain where the margin went.
The dual-income household
Two solid incomes, a mortgage, kids in activities, and a lifestyle that looks comfortable from the outside — but she knows their financial flexibility is thinner than anyone would guess.
The mid-career recalibrator
He's in his late 40s, professionally accomplished, and quietly realizing that the retirement freedom he assumed would materialize hasn't — and the window to course-correct is narrowing.
The status-aware spender
She's honest enough with herself to know that some of her financial decisions are driven by image and belonging, not genuine priority — and she wants a framework to change that.
The obligation-heavy striver
Every financial decision he's made has been defensible on its own — but the cumulative weight of those reasonable commitments has left him with almost no room to move.
The financially aware but stuck
She understands budgeting and investing in principle, but senses that knowledge isn't the core problem — the deeper patterns driving her decisions have never been named or examined.

Tom Graneau
If you're reading this, there's a reasonable chance you've had a version of the same quiet, unsettling thought: I've done what I was supposed to do. Why doesn't it feel like enough?
You earn well. You meet your obligations. You're not reckless with money. By most visible measures, your life looks like success. And yet the financial breathing room you expected — the flexibility, the options, the sense that you could make a different choice if you wanted to — keeps shrinking, or never quite arrives. You work as hard as ever, maybe harder, and somehow the gap between your income and your actual freedom doesn't close the way you imagined it would when you were starting out.
I didn't write DRIFT to tell you what you did wrong. I wrote it because I believe most hardworking people are in financial difficulty not because of failure, but because of design — specifically, the absence of one. The conventional script for success — earn more, upgrade your lifestyle, take on the obligations that signal you've arrived — is not designed with your financial freedom as the priority. It's designed by consumer culture, social expectation, and decades of conditioning about what a life like yours is supposed to look like. Followed faithfully, that script can produce the appearance of success while systematically dismantling the independence underneath it. That's not a personal failing. It's a structural problem. And structural problems require structural solutions.
What this course does is work through that problem at the root. We begin by making the drift phenomenon precise and visible — naming exactly what it is, how it works, and why it's so easy to miss. We examine the cultural and psychological forces that shape financial behavior before conscious decision-making ever enters the picture. We identify the specific drift patterns — lifestyle inflation, obligation creep, the false comfort of financial automation, the emotional accelerators — so you can recognize them in your own life, by name, before they compound further. Then we move to measurement: a serious, clear-eyed audit of your actual financial condition, your real obligation landscape, and how much margin you genuinely retain. Not how things look. How things are.
From there, we do the harder and more important work. We question the inherited assumptions that have been running silently in the background of your financial life. We interrupt the decision pipeline. We create the conditions for a different kind of choice. And then we build — a personal Financial Architecture: an intentional, forward-looking design for how your money moves, what obligations you choose to carry, and how every future financial decision gets evaluated against a standard you set, not one you inherited.
I won't promise you a number or a timeline. I will promise you this: if you engage with this material seriously — if you sit with the audit, question the assumptions, and do the design work — you will finish this course seeing your financial life more clearly than you ever have. And clarity, at this level, changes what's possible.
I'm glad you're here. Let's get to work.
